*** Attention All Customers ***

Effective July 1st, 2017 the amount of the Federal Universal Service Charge (FUSC) appearing on your bill each month will decrease as a result of a decrease in the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) universal service fund contribution factor from 17.4% to 17.1%.  The Federal Universal Service Fund program is designed to keep local telephone service rates affordable for all customers, in all areas of the United States.  Any complaints regarding the monthly Federal Universal Service Charge (FUSC) should be filed directly with the FCC.

 

*** Attention All Nevada Customers ***

Effective July 1, 2017, the Access Recovery Charge (ARC) for residential and single line business customers in all Nevada Exchanges will increase to $3.00 per month.  The Access Recovery Charge for HTC is filed under NECA FCC Tariff No.5 and was created by the FCC to help local carriers like HTC to recover revenues lost due to FCC mandated reductions in inter-carrier access settlements.

 

*** Attention All Oregon Customers ***

Effective July 1, 2017, the Access Recovery Charge (ARC) for residential and single line business customers in the Quinn, OR Exchange will increase to $3.00 per month.  The Access Recovery Charge for HTC is filed under NECA FCC Tariff No.5 and was created by the FCC to help local carriers like HTC to recover revenues lost due to FCC mandated reductions in inter-carrier access settlements.

 

*** Attention Nevada Customers Only ***

Effective July 1, 2017, the Nevada Public Utilities Commission approved an increase on the TDD Surcharge from $.05 to $.07 per access line per month on all end user business and residential services.
